July 4th Must Haves for Watching Fireworks!!

Well with Father's Day in the books, the next Holiday event is just around the corner. And it's always a good idea to start making plans now and start that checklist so we don't forget anything. For most of us, we have to travel a small distance to see public fireworks display, and it always seems we tend to forget that one thing we go without. So here is a short list of those things you may not want to leave behind.

1. Cooler: If you're like me, I like to get there early to get the best possible view. Which usually means we need to eat dinner there. So having a cooler full of food, snacks and drinks when allowed is a great idea for the evening.

2. Lawn Chairs: Having these is a definite must have unless you really like sitting on the hard ground. I know I don't.
   

3. Portable Grill/Utensils: Not going to get into that long-lasting argument of charcoal over gas for grilling, just having a grill is a great item to bring to cook a meal for everyone while you wait for the fireworks show to start. Make sure to get Utensils to flip them burgers.

4. Yard Games: While everyone is waiting for the food and the fireworks show, having a yard game or too is great to pass the time. The Cornhole game, Ladder Toss, or even just throwing the ol' football around is a great way to stay entertained.

5. Blue Tooth Speaker: Don't know about you but whenever I am at a family or public celebration, we just have to some music to listen too. And with today's tech no reason not to have good tunes playing!

6. First Aid Kit/Sunscreen: Finally, it's always a good idea to have a First Aid Kit cause someone is going to get a cut, insect bite, or something. Hopefully nothing to major.

Ok well there it is. Just a few items that will make waiting for the fireworks not seem so dreadfully long and could build some amazing memories for years to come.
